Three Strands Ceremonies was born from something simple and beautiful — love, hospitality, and a desire to celebrate marriage well.

In 2025, Morris and Nanette Ricks began hosting weddings at their home, opening their space to couples who wanted an intimate, meaningful place to begin their journey together. 

What started as welcoming couples into their home soon became something bigger. As they walked alongside these couples — helping plan ceremonies, offering encouragement, and witnessing sacred vows — they realized they had a calling to help more couples start their marriages with intention, faith, and love.

From that experience, Three Strands Ceremonies was born.

The name is inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12 — “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

For Morris and Nanette, those three strands represent the couple, their commitment to one another, and the spiritual foundation that strengthens their union.

Morris and Nanette have been married for five years, and their own relationship reflects the partnership they encourage in every couple they serve.
